The Lake District has been a source of inspiration for many artists, writers and poets over the years including J.M.W.Turner, John Constable, George Romney, William Wordsworth, Samuel Taylor Coleridge, Robert Southey, Alfred Lord Tennyson, Thomas De Quincey, Percy Bysshe Shelley, John Ruskin and more. Some of my work is influenced by this wonderful landscape.
During the 1980s / 90s much of my work was published by Christies Contemporary Art ( now CCA Galleries ). This work reflects a contemporary figurative interpretation of the landscape.
